Weβll taste an iconic Riserva Chianti Classico from one of the oldest, & most decorated winemaking families in Tuscany and then compare it to the same familyβs Cabernet Sauvignon made from grapes grown at some of the highest elevations in Napa Valley, CA on Atlas Peak. Once weβve tried these singular expressions on Cabernet Sauvignon and the Sangiovese grape made famous by Chianti, weβll continue our Old World vs. New World exploration by enjoying California and Italian red wine blends, including an award-winning Super Tuscan, using both grape varietals!
